‘We can forget about going up’ – Plenty of Bristol City fans react to setback

Bristol City were defeated by Millwall on Tuesday night in a game that once more highlighted the sides continued inconsistencies.
The Robins were outplayed for much of the game and found themselves trailing at the break after Jed Wallace’s opener. Jake Cooper then made it two, before Callum O’Dowda managed to pull a consolation goal back.
The result would have been particularly frustrating for Bristol City fans having seen their side record such an impressive victory over Fulham at the weekend.
Last season their home form was very inconsistent, and Lee Johnson will hope that this is just a blip in the road as the Robins look to challenge for a place in the Premier League.
Next up, they face another tricky test at Ashton Gate as they welcome Blackburn this weekend.
Here’s how Bristol City supporters reacted to the home defeat to Millwall…

Shame we didn't turn up until the 80th minute

Until we can start playing at home, we can forget about going up.

Home form is dire. First 80 minutes clueless. Woke up after that but far too late again #strikerneeded

Total lack of effort, desire and pace. Started playing after 80 minutes. Seen it too often at home. When will Bristol City capitalise on all the hard work rather than just throwing it away like that?

Disappointing – but we have an early opportunity to bounce back on Saturday. 🔴 ⚪️

Explain that one Johnson. At home, your team only turn up for last 5 mins! Shocking performance. We won't make play-offs, team has no backbone.
