Aitor Karanka is currently looking to reshape his Nottingham Forest squad, as he looks to help his side recover from a disappointing 2017/18 campaign.

The Spaniard had been keen to add Alan Hutton to his squad this summer, with it starting to look inevitable that the 33-year-old would be departing Aston Villa ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

However, Hutton has shocked many by agreeing a new deal at Villa Park, committing himself to the club for a further 12 months until the end of next season.

The veteran full-back offers versatility and experience, which Karanka had been keen to add to his squad ahead of next season.

Aston Villa’s transfer update has been well received at Villa Park, whilst Forest’s supporters have also had plenty to say on the matter.
