Barnsley striker Kieffer Moore has left the club to join Championship rivals Wigan Athletic, the Yorkshire side have confirmed.
Moore joined Barnsley from Ipswich Town in January 2018, and scored a total of 23 goals in 55 appearances in all competitions for The Tykes, which included 17 strikes in their League One promotion campaign last season, helping the club to make an immediate return to the Championship as runners up behind Luton Town.
Taking to Twitter to react to the news of Moore’s departure, a number of Barnsley fans appeared confident of coping without the striker on their return to the Championship, while paying tribute to his contribution to the club during his time at Oakwell.
Here, we take a look at what some of those fans had to say.
Cheers for last season Keef, let's sign a better replacement like we did when we sold Bradshaw

Saturday showed he doesn't fit our style of play and that we can do well without him but wish him all the best was great for us last season

Thanks for all your efforts last season Kieffer, sad to hear you wanted to leave instead of continuing on our special journey. Time to bring in a striker who wants to play for the club, shirt and fans! COYR!

Been great for us and everything but disappointed he’s pushed for a move, after we stuck by him after his injury last season! No loyalty

League 1 at best. Won’t miss him.
