Andrea Radrizzani is a man answering questions this week, with the Leeds United owner delivering a series of interviews to various media outlets.
The latest of those interviews came today with talkSPORT, where Radrizzani was seemingly looking for answers, by questioning the commitment of Leeds’ playing squad.
Leeds are drifting towards a mid-table finish in the Sky Bet Championship this season, despite hope that the club would build on last year’s seventh placed effort.
Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post has had his say on Radrizzani’s outburst, questioning whether it would be possible to cut large sections of the playing squad at Elland Road, after long-term contracts were handed out in the summer.
Trouble with threatening to cull this squad is that Hernandez is the only senior player out of contract this summer, and quite honestly I'd be keeping him. A lot of long-term deals in place. #lufc

The YEP journalist also noted that Pablo Hernandez, a player who has impressed this season, is the only member of the squad set to become a free agent in the summer.
As expected, there has been plenty said across social media on Radrizzani’s comments, with also reaction to Hay’s opinion.
Here is what Leeds’ supporters are saying…
Trouble with not culling half the squad is that they're not good enough. Pay them to sit around and continue to prove that, or take the hit?

It is the irony of ironies that Pablo is probaly the one player we need above all others yet he's the only one not signed up! The fans have been aware of this for months.

Im sure everybody was singing his praises at the time when he was handing long term deals out #lufc

Pablo has been the best player on a regular basis by far. Id give he at least a two year contract. But this is leeds so they will let him go and replace him with someone who cant even get on the bench in the third tier of some division in the outer rims

It’s just further points to the fact that the owner really doesn’t know what he’s doing!

Transfer list them.

Sounds like he is pointing the finger at recruitment decisions

We aren't in a good position at all for the summer.
