Rotherham United have completed the club-record signing of Plymouth Argyle striker Freddie Ladapo, who arrives at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on a three-year deal.

Following their relegation from the Sky Bet Championship, Paul Warne's side were crying out for a new, prolific forward capable of firing them back up into the second tier, with defender Semi Ajayi ending up as their leading goalscorer last term.

But they have now found that man in Ladapo - the 26-year-old scored 19 goals in 49 games for Plymouth Argyle last season, but was unable to prevent the Pilgrims from dropping down into League Two.

A quick, powerful and hungry forward, the former Crystal Palace man becomes the Millers' third signing of the summer, with Shaun MacDonald and Carlton Morris arriving from Wigan and Norwich respectively.

The rumoured fee for Ladapo is believed to be in the region of around £500,000, which surpasses the £400,000 fee they paid for winger Jon Taylor back in 2016.

Here, we take a look at Rotherham fans' reactions to their latest addition...
