Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to express that he misses the club, which has been well received by many Whites fans.

EFL games have been postponed until the 30th of April at the earliest due to the Covid-19 pandemic, though reports have suggested the delay will last longer than that.

No club will be more desperate for the 2019/20 season to resume than Leeds, who are nine games away from ending their 16-year absence from the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa's side are top of the Championship and sitting comfortably in the automatic promotion places with a seven-point cushion over third-place Fulham.

It appears the delay is getting to the Whites owner as much as anyone, as the Italian took to Twitter yesterday to send a short, yet emotional, message.

Radrizzani deserves a lot of credit for the improvements that have been made at the Yorkshire club since he took charge.

The appointment of Bielsa has seemed a real turning point and the Leeds owner has pumped a lot of money into the club over the past 18 months to ensure the Argentine has all the tools he needs to ensure the club get back to the top flight.

They look on course to do that this season but may have to just wait a little while longer.

Radrizzani's feelings appear to be shared by Leeds fans, many of whom took to Twitter to express their thoughts and look to the future.
