Wayne Rooney has urged Derby County fans not to panic as the battle for Championship survival hots up.

Rotherham United’s 3-1 home win over Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night saw them to move within three points of safety ahead of their match with Coventry City on Thursday.

Nerves are starting to jangle amongst Derby fans heading into Friday’s trip to Blackburn Rovers, with many labelling it as a must-win game.

Wayne Rooney, though, has urged Derby fans not to panic, delivering a calm, composed, simple message to Rams supporters.

Derby have won only one of their last 10 league game and are winless in their last two matches, and will be keen to return to winning ways as soon as possible.

The Verdict
