Watford look likely to have a busy few weeks ahead of them as we move toward the end of the winter transfer window.

We're now approaching the half-way point in January and you feel things are only likely to intensify as transfer deadline day draws closer.

With that in mind, we've compiled all the latest Hornets transfer news in our round-up...

West Ham interest in Sarr clarified

Watford held onto the Senegal international in the summer but it seems there is interest again in the January window, with The Athletic reporting that West Ham are genuinely keen on signing the forward.

However, with physical striker Sebastian Haller leaving to join Ajax it has been suggested a like-for-like replacement may be the move that the Hammers seek.

Hornets want £50 million for in-demand forward

According to The Athletic, Watford don't want to sell Sarr this month and value him at around £50 million.

It is understood that the Championship club will want potential suitors to reach £35 million to £40 million just to get negotiations started, with any deal likely to be complex due to upfront payments and add-ons.

Did Watford sign each of these 14 players for more or less than £1 million?

Dawson 'likely' to join Hammers permanently

The experienced central defender has only made four appearances since joining West Ham on loan in the summer but it seems his move to the London Stadium may be made permanent in the summer.

Claret and Hugh has reported that there is an option to buy in the loan deal and that Hammers boss David Moyes is likely to trigger it.

Watford in talks with Filip Stuparevic over potential exit

Stuparevic's move to Partizan Belgrade fell through at the end of the summer window but it seems he could still be on his way out of the Championship club.

According to The Athletic, the Hornets are in talks with the 20-year-old's representatives over what his next move should be and potentially whether he could be released from his contract, which is set to expire in 2023.

Alternatively, it is understood that Partizan still hold an interest in taking the striker on loan.
