Watford have joined Leeds United in the race for Norwich City striker Luciano Becchio, according to FLW sources.
As reported on Football League World a week ago, Leeds United are considering making a move for their former striker, however Watford have now joined the race to sign the 30-year-old forward.
The Argentine amassed 190 appearances at Elland Road, scoring 75 goals in his time at the Yorkshire club.
The 30-year-old left Leeds in the January transfer window in 2013 to sign for Norwich City on a three and a half year deal, with Steve Morison going the other way.
Norwich are top heavy in the striking department, with Becchio among five other strikers vying for a spot in the first team.
With the signings of Lewis Grabban and Kyle Lafferty recently Norwich will be looking to offload a striker from their squad, and could sell Becchio to another club.
Watford are in threat of losing their star striker Troy Deeney to a Premier League club, and are eyeing Becchio as an adequate replacement.
