In wider news, away from the football, today there’s been an announcement from the government concerning the latest set of restrictions on the country as a tiered system returns this December.
Fresh from a national lockdown, new measures will be put in place in December and areas up and down the country have learned where, initially, they have been placed in the system and what that means for various aspects of life.
For those in tier 3, the wait to return to a football ground and watch their team has been extended, with Birmingham City supporters among those impacted by that.
Indeed, the Blues took to Twitter to confirm the placement:

Naturally, then, fans have reacted to this news on social media as the wait goes on and the hope will be they can get out of it as soon as possible.
