Nottingham Forest have recently been linked with the signing of former West Brom striker Brown Ideye, ahead of the summer transfer window.

Reports from Greek media outlet PageNews claim that Ideye is "in the running for Forest", with his contract at Aris Salonika set to expire at the end of the season.

Ideye will be mostly remembered by his time at West Brom - the 31-year-old became Albion's club-record signing in 2014, when he arrived from Dynamo Kiev for a reported fee of £10m.

The Nigerian failed to make an impact at the Hawthorns, though, scoring seven goals in a total of 31 games across all competitions for the Baggies, before leaving for Olympiacos the following season.

Now playing in Greece for Aris Salonika, Ideye has scored seven goals in 23 appearances since arriving from Tianijn Teda in the summer, and a move to the City Ground be on the cards.

Forest could look to bolster their attacking ranks in the summer, with Lewis Grabban now approaching the age of 33 and Nuno da Costa failing to make an impact since joining in January.

Here, though, we take a look at what Forest fans have made of this speculation, via the Nottingham Forest News page on Facebook...

John Moncaster: 4 goals in 24 matches, that's awesome ( looks like a good buy). Wasting more money on trash...,!!!
