Sheffield United have turned that early season blip around and are currently chasing the leaders in the early Championship table.

Their progress since arriving in the Championship has been astonishing, all conducted and orchestrated by the wily management of Chris Wilder.

He's a strong figure who seemingly gets the best out of players who have previously been a lost cause.

Leon Clarke is a prime example and he's hoping that Conor Washington will be another in the coming weeks.

The Blades face a tough clash with Bristol City this weekend and this is the line up FLW thinks Blades fans would like to see.

Henderson is fast becoming a fan's favourite, not least because of his Instagram post this week mocking Norwich City.

He's also a very good keeper and will perhaps be every bit as good as Blackman was last season.

The Blades like to play three at the back, starting with Jack O'Connell heavily involved.

The 24-year old is a player thriving under the current manager and likely to be a staple of the side this season.

Summer signing John Egan will play too, another solid player with a strong future ahead of him.

He's settled in quickly at Bramall Lane and is likely to play 40+ games this season.

Basham is in his fourth season with the Blades now and is quickly becoming something of a hero there.

He's just the wrong wide of thirty, but brings some experience and knowledge to the back three.

On the left at wing back we're going for Ben Woodburn over Enda Stevens. It might not be a natural position, but he can play up and down the left flank.

His capture was a real coup this summer and he's going to feature heavily, even if the early outings have been a little muted.

On the right side of the midfield five is Freeman, a right back by trade who has settled into a first team place under Wilder.

He can advance, perhaps not as much as Woodburn, but he's still a vital player right now.

John Fleck is another stalwart of last season's side who has carried his form over nicely.

The Scot is surely one of the first names on the team sheet.

Oliver Norwood knows what it takes to get promoted from this division and he's hoping to make it three in a row with the Blades.

He's a real talent too and a top signing this summer.

Duffy has sat behind the front two in recent weeks and hasn't done anything to suggest that isn't a good position for him.

Wilder trusts him too, he thrives under his watchful eye and is a key player.

Sharp is a Sheffield United legend, the sort of player who will end up with a statue outside the ground when he leaves.

He's in the final knockings of a grand career now, but he's still as fit and able as anyone.

Washington was a misfit at QPR, but his capture on deadline day might just be the most astute move Wilder has ever made.

He loves players back to life and if he gets the Peterborough form out of the 26-year old, he'll be nursing a rough diamond once more.
