“Was it something we said?” – Coventry City fans react to midfielder’s exit

Coventry City have today confirmed that midfielder Carl Baker has left the club by mutual consent.
Baker only returned to Coventry in March but he has once again departed.
The veteran midfielder did not make a single appearance for Coventry in his second stint with the West Midlands outfit.
Baker previously played for Coventry between 2010 and 2014, during which time he established himself as a firm fans’ favourite at the Ricoh Arena.
Baker scored 28 goals in 182 games for the Sky Blues in his first spell with the club before going on to play for Milton Keynes Dons and Indian side ATK before his return to Coventry.
The second stint has not gone so well.
After joining on a “pay as you play” contract, Baker failed to get back to full match fitness and has left the club without featuring in Mark Robins’ team.
Here are how Coventry fans reacted to Baker’s contract termination.
