Leeds United were once again on the receiving end of a poor result as they were defeated by Sheffield United 2-1 at Bramall Lane in the early kick off live on Sky this afternoon.

The Whites put in a decent showing in all fairness and looked to be on their way to a point before a Eunan O'Kane challenge gifted Billy Sharp the chance to seal the three points for the Blades from the spot, a chance he took with aplomb.

Following the game and despite the loss, experienced Leeds 'keeper Andy Lonergan took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the game, and he was of the firm belief his side deserved something from the game.

As usual when a Leeds player decides to take to social media, plenty of Whites supporters saw this as a chance to have their say on the game and respond to Lonergan, and lots of supporters did just that.
