‘Was always going to happen’ – Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans react to latest club news

Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social media to react to the news that the Reds’ Sky Bet Championship clash with Leeds United next month has been chosen for television coverage.

The game at the City Ground on Saturday, February 8 was originally scheduled for 3pm, but kick-off has been pushed back to 5:30pm so that the match can be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Forest have already been shown on Sky Sports on several occasions so far this season, including the reserve fixture against Leeds at Elland Road back in August, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

A lot has changed since that game, but both sides have made encouraging starts to the season. Leeds currently sit top of the Championship table, while Forest occupy fourth place.

Forest are currently nine points behind Leeds in the table, although they do have a game in hand, and will be hoping to have closed the gap to the Whites by the time the two teams meet at the City Ground next month.
