Coventry City defender Michael Rose is reportedly attracting interest from Leeds United after a standout campaign for the Sky Blues.

Football Insider claim that Leeds are interested in signing the 24-year-old in order to solve their defensive dilemma, ahead of a potential return to the Premier League for the Whites.

With Ben White set to return to Brighton at the end of the season, Leeds will have to bring in another centre-half to provide cover for Liam Cooper, with Juan Foyth and Daniel Ayala also said to be on their radar.

How old are each of these 14 Leeds United players?

Rose joined Coventry from Ayr United in the summer, making 40 appearances for Coventry in 2019/20, as Mark Robins' side won automatic promotion from League One.

The Sky Blues were confirmed as League One Champions after the campaign was curtailed last week, with one of their most important players now attracting interest.

With another year left on his deal, it could be hard for the club to keep hold of Rose amid Leeds' interest, and they may be forced into selling the defender rather than potentially losing him for free next summer.

With many fans still celebrating in the aftermath of their confirmed promotion to the Championship, City fans have reacted to the interest in Rose.
