Speaking to @NFFC, Mark Warburton has expressed one more victory from Nottingham Forest’s remaining fixtures could be enough to secure survival in the Sky Bet Championship.

Forest face Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road this coming weekend, where victory will move Warburton’s side past 50-points - the benchmark for survival in the Championship.

Victory wouldn’t guarantee safety, if Blackburn Rovers pick up three-points against Aston Villa, but it would be a serious boost for Warburton.

Warburton acknowledged victory could mean survival, but insisted his side would be looking for maximum points from their remaining two fixtures regardless, he said: “One more victory could be enough to keep us up but we will go out and try and win every game we have left.”

Last weekend, Forest recorded an impressive 3-2 victory over promotion-chasing Reading, to move three-points clear of the Championship’s relegation zone.

Warburton’s side face QPR on Saturday before completing the Championship season the following Sunday against Ipswich Town at the City Ground.
