Nottingham Forest got themselves back on track once more this season as they beat Bolton Wanderers 3-2 at the City Ground in the Championship at the weekend.

The Reds have been up and down all year but they will feel as though they can get into the top six if they can just find some more consistency.

That will be the plan for the second half of this season, then, whilst Mark Warburton has also suggested that Barrie McKay should get even better.

Signing from Rangers in the summer, McKay has quickly impressed at the City Ground with both goals and assists and, perhaps worryingly for Forest's rivals, MW thinks he is going to get better in certain areas.

As quoted by the Nottingham Post, Warburton said:

“I think Barrie has so much more to offer. I think going forward, for Barrie, he has to learn how he can impact games with the quality he possesses.

“Sometimes you do not get on the ball in games – he has to find a way of making sure he gets on the ball."

If he can crack this, then, the young winger should go up another notch in terms of his talent and that could fire Forest to the top six.

Let's see, then, if he can take Warburton's advice on board.
