Queens Park Rangers are eyeing up a midweek EFL Cup return for Luke Amos when the Hoops host Everton next week in the competition.
QPR have had a really positive start to the campaign this year in the second tier and look as though they are going to be firmly in the play-off mix this season.
Indeed, their squad is looking strong and full of quality and it would appear that things are about to be boosted further by the return of Luke Amos.
The midfielder has featured in matches away from the first-team in recent weeks and Warburton thinks the cup game with Everton could be the one that sees him return:
“Luke will hopefully play 90 for the B team and then be available for selection, so we might see him involved against Everton,” he said via West London Sport.
This is simply great news for all involved.
Amos has been out since the early stages of last season with injury so to have him nearly back is great for QPR and for him as a player too.
He’s certainly someone that can push to get into the first-team starting XI once he’s back up to speed and so having a player like that returning can only be good news for Rangers.
