Nottingham Forest saw their good run come to an end this afternoon as surprise playoff hopefuls Millwall saw them off 2-0 at the New Den.
Aitor Karanka’s men were never really at the races in the early kick off in the Sky Bet Championship, and they were seen off thanks to a goal in the opening a minute, and a second half striker from Lions striker Lee Gregory.
The result puts an end to what had been a promising run of results by the Reds, and once again highlights the inconsistencies which have plagued the Midlands club all season long.
Following the game, plenty of Forest fans had things to say about the performance and season in general, and it’s looking like plenty at the City Ground are now looking to draw a line under this campaign and come back after the summer ready to mount a push for the top six.
As always, we at FLW were on hand to see what was being said, so here’s a closer look at how Forest’s defeat to Millwall today went down with the Reds fans…
I didn’t see one stand out player today from your team. Who id pick to be in Millwall’s

Not much to say… We went down after 27 sec. and never really got into the game… It looked like boys against men for most of the game, and we created close to nothing. Got what we deserved, NOTHING!????

decisions over the summer about trimming squad are getting easier

Fair play to Millwall, fear Middlesbrough next Saturday will be a similar affair. Doubt we'll cope with the intensity of the teams fighting for the play-offs between now and the end of the campaign.. #NFFC

Seeing a few fans saying they're not bothered about the rest of the season. Now there's passion and commitment the team needs. Not. #NFFC

Another serious #Nffc goal drought.
I'm sure @Karanka knows we need to get some real quality up front in the summer. We are better than we were under Warburton but a long long way from the finished article
