Andrea Radrizzani weighed in with a tongue-in-cheek view on yesterday’s General Election, urging Leeds United fans to vote for head-coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Leeds fans love Bielsa, who has transformed the club from mid-table plodders into promotion contenders in the Sky Bet Championship.

Yes, they missed out last year, but Bielsa is leading the charge once again this season, with Leeds top of the table after 21 games and unbeaten in 10.

And, the 64-year-old’s measured approach to almost everything would surely make him a great candidate to run the country. Or, in the eyes of Radrizzani anyway, with the Leeds owner tweeting the following update:

A couple of Leeds fans responded by echoing Radrizzani’s thoughts, whilst others referenced Qatari Sports Investments reported interest in the club.
