‘Villa should certainly be braced for bids’ – Time for Aston Villa to start worrying about PL interest?

Jack Grealish was on fire for Aston Villa on the weekend as the Villans beat bitter rivals Birmingham City 2-0 at Villa Park.

The 22-year-old was the architect of Villa’s success and has been in fine form over the past few weeks as Steve Bruce’s side won their seventh consecutive league match.

Is it time Villa start worrying about Premier League interest in Grealish in the summer?

We discuss….

Adam Simeoni

The 22-year-old has been in electric form since his return from injury, and Villa should certainly be braced for bids should they fail to get promoted.

Grealish appears to have begun to focus upon his game rather than the distractions associated with a wealthy young man, and looks set to head to the top if his current run continues.

George Dagless

Absolutely.

I think Villa will go up as the second side behind Wolves but even so Grealish is going to attract interest.

He is running games for fun at the moment and his performance yesterday was superb.

Sam Preston

They should be terrified of Premier League interest if he keeps playing like he did yesterday.

He was the best player on the pitch by far, especially in the second half. Birmingham tried kicking him but he kept getting up and taking the game away from the Blues.

Young British players who can change games are rare and he will be in demand in the summer, no doubt.
