Leeds United drew 1-1 with Luton Town last night and a post-match clash between Hatters boss Nathan Jones and Whites playmaker Pablo Hernandez has caused a stir among many fans of the Yorkshire club.

Leeds were looking to extend their lead at the top of the Championship to six points but it was relegation-threatened Luton that took the lead through Harry Cornick early in the second half.

Stuart Dallas grabbed an equaliser for the Whites, calmly sliding the ball past Simon Sluga from the centre of the box, but Marcelo Bielsa's men were unable to find a winner despite numerous late chances.

It was a frustrating evening for Leeds and one that's drama didn't end at the final whistle as there was a post-match bust-up between Jones and Hernandez.

The Luton boss took responsibility for the incident after the game, explaining what had happened to Leeds Live.

He said: "My fault. We had a little bit of an argument. I apologise. I probably said something that I shouldn’t have said. Nothing malicious, but I shouldn’t have said it and I apologised. He was having a moan that they defended too much, one of those things.

"I got to practice my Spanish, Pablo got his apology.

"I wanted him to know we were fighting for our lives, and wanted him to know. I’ve been called worse, I’ve say far worse every day."

The result means the Whites move four points ahead of West Bromwich Albion, who face Sheffield Wednesday this evening.

Luton, on the other hand, have claimed another vital point in their survival fight and continue their unbeaten run since Jones returned to the club.

He appears to be regaining his popularity at Kenilworth Road but remains unpopular in West Yorkshire, it seems.
