Sheffield United’s extended stint outside the top-flight has seen a number of talented players leave the club over recent years, as they look to test themselves at a higher level.

One of those players is Harry Maguire, who left Bramall Lane in the summer of 2014 for Hull City, having made 166 first team appearances for the Blades.

Maguire impressed during the early stage of his career with Sheffield United, and continued to shine following his move to East Yorkshire, playing in both the Premier League and Championship for Hull.

However, this summer Maguire made a £17m switch from Hull to Leicester City, once again testing himself in the Premier League.

His early season performance has given the defender and opportunity to link-up with the England national team, with Gareth Southgate handing the 24-year-old his debut in last night’s 1-0 victory over Lithuania.
