Sunderland will be looking to finally win a home game this weekend as they welcome Fulham to the Stadium of Light in the Championship.

The men from Wearside have not had a good year with relegation from the Premier League coming in May but they know that a win tomorrow could set them up for a brighter 2018.

Certainly, things under Chris Coleman have looked slightly more positive this last few weeks and a win tomorrow will really boost confidence.

Another boost, meanwhile, has come on the training pitch with Didier Ndong back fit for selection.

A fine player on his day, Sunderland fans will hope Coleman can get Ndong on form once more and it looks as though he will be in the squad, if not starting the game tomorrow.

As quoted by Chronicle Live, he said;

“Didier Ndong has trained well this week.

“He is not ready to play a huge part in the game just yet, but he could figure, abeit not for very long, ideally."

A very late positive ahead of the game against Fulham, then, and though he won't start he could be a welcome introduction off of the bench.

Let's see what happens at the Stadium of Light tomorrow now, then, as the Black Cats aim for a long overdue home win.
