Dean Smith is gearing up for his second game in charge of Aston Villa as they travel to take on Norwich City in what will be a tough encounter.

A Tammy Abraham goal ensured that Smith got off to the perfect start in charge of his boyhood club, but the former Brentford boss has made changes to the XI that started the win over Swansea.

One of those was enforced, with midfielder John McGinn picking up his fifth booking of the season in that victory, so he has been replaced by Glenn Whelan.

And, the second change also came in the middle of the park, with Birkir Bjarnason on the bench and Conor Hourihane in from the off.

Elsewhere, it's unchanged. That means Axel Tuanzebe continues as James Chester's centre-back partner, whilst Jack Grealish will operate as the number ten in this 4-4-1-1 formation, with the playmaker playing off Abraham.

Also, former Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi is on the bench after not making the squad last time out, along with Henri Lansbury.

The inclusion of El Ghazi has seen Yannick Bolasie miss out on the 18 altogether.

Here's how the fans reacted to the team news...
