Sheffield Wednesday take on Luton Town today in the FA Cup third round, knowing that a positive result will breed even more confidence into a squad which has picked up form of late.

Caretaker manager Lee Bullen has managed to turn things around somewhat since the departure of Jos Luhukay, but with Steve Bruce now in charge - albeit not until February - there is a new era at Hillsborough beginning today, with Bullen very much still part of proceedings.

The home tie against the Hatters should prove a winnable game for the Owls, especially with the XI named by the new regimed, which barring Kieran Westwood in goal, is about as strong an XI as they can select.

Naming such a strong team shows ample respect to their lower league opponents but also suggests that the Owls are wanting to progress in the competition and maintain recent momentum, something which will be crucial as the second half of the season unfolds.

Plenty of Owls fans had their say on the XI on Twitter, and we at FLW were on hand to capture just what Wednesday fans thought about their FA Cup line-up today...
