Birmingham City confirmed the signing of Che Adams from Sheffield United back in the summer of 2016, and it's safe to say they won't be regretting this deal one bit.

The striker's arrival was met with much intrigue, and he's certainly made a positive impact with the Blues since signing along the dotted line.

See how Birmingham fans reacted to his arrival at the time on Twitter.

Adams didn't have the best of records in front of goal when he signed for Birmingham, and many Sheffield United supporters were delighted to see the back of him.

The forward netted 15 goals across a three-year-spell with the Blades in their time in League One, and he'll surely be regretting leaving the club, with Sheffield United mounting a strong challenge for promotion back to the Premier League this season.

But Adams has looked hugely impressive this season and is likely to be one of the most feared strikers in the Championship at this moment in time.

The 22-year-old has 21 league goals to his name so far in this year's campaign, and will be confident of adding to that tally as the season heads towards a conclusion.

He has been Birmingham's main attacking outlet this season and has formed an impressive partnership with Lucas Jutkiewicz up-front for the Blues.

If they hadn't have been handed a points deduction, then they would have fancied their chances of making a late charge for the play-off positions.

Birmingham will have a tough job to keep hold of Adams in the summer, with the striker likely to not be short of options after such a good season.

He could definitely make the step up to the Premier League and it wouldn't come as a surprise if he was to depart the club at the end of this year's campaign.
