Derby County will be looking to bounce straight back to winning ways on Saturday after they crashed to a bitterly disappointing midweek defeat to Stoke City.
The Potters were reduced to ten-men early on after Peter Etebo was shown a straight red for a horror challenge on Richard Keogh.
But goals from Sam Clucas and former Ram Tom Ince either side of Harry Wilson’s brilliant free-kick meant the travelling fans went home with nothing to celebrate.
Frank Lampard’s side had won four of their last six before the midweek clash, but defeat saw them slip out of the top-six.
It was obvious how much the players wanted to win the match, no more so than midfielder Tom Huddlestone who was used as a substitute.
Very disappointing night. Once we drew level we should have gone on to win the game but found it tough to break them down and then got caught on the break. More quality needed Saturday pic.twitter.com/1vaYSaUR8g

The experienced midfielder has shone in stages this season but admitted that his side struggled to break down a rigid Stoke side.
He will be hoping his side can put things right this weekend against Swansea City at Pride Park, but for now the fans have given their verdicts on the midfielder…
Still the most underated English midfielder in the last 1000 years #Goddlestone

Difficult night. We move on. Onwards and upwards. Great opportunity on Saturday to put it behind us.
