According to The Mirror, former England boss Roy Hodgson is considering whether to take the Norwich City job.
Norwich City are in the hunt for their next manager after parting ways with Scotsman Alex Neil last week.
The Canaries were expected to be fighting for promotion this season but a run of recent bad form seriously dented their hopes of reaching the top six as they currently sit eight points adrift of the play-off zone with nine games remaining.
Norwich were apparently keen on Gary Rowett, who has recently been named as the new Derby manager.
They have instead diverted their attention to Roy Hodgson, who has been out of a job since he was sacked as England manager following a humiliating Euro 2016 defeat to Iceland.
The 70-year-old recently held talks with Leicester City but they opted to appoint caretaker boss Craig Shakespeare instead.
This report suggests that Hodgson is a family friend of Norwich owner Delia Smith and is seriously considering dropping to the Championship to take the job.
