Whilst Tony Fernandes has been praising QPR and their young side, fans of the West London club are not as impressed with the progress their chairman claims to have made.

Yesterday's defeat against Brentford left them 15 points behind their West London neighbours and 16 points away from fellow Londoners Millwall placed just inside the top six.

The chairman had tweeted his praise for the side and paid tribute to the developments being made at the club, but the fans haven't accepted that and have issued some angry responses on Twitter.

Much of their vitriol has been directed at manager Ian Holloway, a man whose record in the hot seat hasn't pleased the Loftus Road faithful.

They feel that finishing below Brentford is unacceptable and that the club's recruitment policy has been wholly inadequate during his tenure at the club.

With a 'big and important' summer ahead, words taken directly from Fernandes' tweet, Hoops fans have openly questioned whether their manager is the right man to be at the helm.

Here are a selection of their best responses.
