Birmingham City slipped into 14th place in the Championship table after suffering a disappointing 1-0 loss on their travels to Wigan last night.

Manager Pep Clotet made two changes from the side that narrowly lost 3-2 to Derby County at Pride Park last weekend, but failed to get provoke a reaction out of his side as they suffered their third straight defeat in the league.

It is the fourth time, this season, that the Blues have failed to score inside 90 minutes, with two of them coming in their last three matches.

At the DW Stadium, supporters made the journey to watch their team fail to record a single shot on target in a desperately underwhelming day for the club.

After the match, the club Twitter account released a link to Clotet’s post-match thoughts and it’s fair to say the majority of supporters weren’t happy with what he said.

In the Tweet, the club include a particular quote that didn’t fill the fans with the greatest of confidence…

Most were outraged that Clotet expected a 0-0…

For some, the results - combined with his uninspiring comments- are enough to warrant a change...
