Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping for better fortunes in the 2020/21 season, after what has been a pretty poor season.

The Owls are languishing in 15th spot in the Championship table and have seen any hopes of securing a play-off spot essentially evaporated with nine games of the season left.

There has been several Owls players who have perhaps not hit the levels they should have this season, whilst some have just failed to make an impact at all with Monk opting not to utilise them.

Have these 15 current Sheffield Wednesday players been capped at senior international level? – Yes or no? Have a go now!

One player who falls into that latter category is Dutchman Joey Pelupessy.

The 26-year-old joined the Owls back in 2018 from Heracles and was former manager Jos Luhukay's first signing during his time at Hillsborough.

However, the central midfielder has seemingly struggled to adapt to the demands and rigours of English football - his 12 Championship appearances for the Owls this season suggest he is not a fundamental part of Monk's plans.

And, the player has since become the centre of a debate initiated by Twitter account Owls HQ, which simply asked Sheffield Wednesday fans: 'Do you rate Joey Pelupessy?'

When taking a look at the reactions and responses, it seemed the majority of these Sheffield Wednesday fans were not the biggest fan of the midfielder.....
