Barnsley fans have every right to be angry this season, having lost Paul Heckingbottom in mid-season, their fortunes have since taken a turn for the worst.

Jose Morais took over, an assistant of some renown having been at Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea, but having won just two of his 13 games in charge, he's under considerable pressure at the foot of the table.

Last night's 3-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest left them two points adrift of Bolton Wanderers who are fourth from bottom, with relegation a distinct possibility this weekend against Brentford.

After last night's match, Morais gave an evasive and belligerent interview to BBC Radio Sheffield's Jonathan Buchan. He was widely criticised for not applauding the travelling fans after the game, as well as facing grilling questions about his six changes to the side.

He is clearly a man under pressure, a manager who has not bonded with his club's fans who see him as worse than his predecessor and responsible for the slide towards League One.

They didn't hold back in their assessment, replying to Buchan's article in fury and anger. They did reserve praised for the persistent and dogged interview style though, from a reporter not afraid to ask the questions they want answering.
