Cardiff City have recently announced that they have appointed Neil Harris as their new manager until the summer of 2022.

The Bluebirds have been searching for a new boss since Neil Warnock left the club earlier this month, which came as a surprise, with the 70-year-old previously announcing that he was set to retire at the end of this year's campaign.

Harris has been out of work since he left the managerial post at Millwall earlier this season, and he clearly sees the Cardiff job as something that appeals to him.

He successfully steered Millwall clear of relegation in the Championship last term, and will be hoping that he can guide Cardiff up the table at the earliest of opportunities.

Cardiff are currently sat 14th in the league table, and will be keen to challenge for a top-six finish, which certainly shouldn't be ruled out so early into this season.

Plenty of Cardiff fans weren't too happy with Harris' appointment though.
