Danny Cowley's first game in charge of Huddersfield Town ended in defeat, with the Terriers losing 2-0 to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday afternoon.

The 40-year-old would have been hoping to kick off his tenure in the best way possible, after being appointed as the Town boss earlier on in the week.

The Terriers endured a terrible start to the season after losing five of their opening six games heading into September, with Cowley hoping to change their fortunes after making the move from Lincoln City.

But Cowley's tenure of Huddersfield began in defeat, with new Wednesday boss Garry Monk picking up a win his first game at the helm of the Owls at the weekend.

Two headers won the game for Wednesday - Steven Fletcher rising highest to nod in after 12 minutes, and substitute Sam Winnall glancing a header past Kamil Grabara to secure all three points for the visitors.

A lot to work on for Huddersfield and Cowley, then, and here, we take a look at Town fans' reactions to yet another defeat in the Championship...
