Stevenage produced a shock result in the second round of the FA Cup by dumping out League One table-toppers Hull City at the Lamex Stadium.

It was decided by a penalty shootout as the League Two strugglers took the former Premier League outfit all the way, with defender Sean McLoughlin missing the deciding penalty in sudden death for Grant McCann's men.

The Tigers took the lead early in the second half from the spot through Tom Eaves, before Elliott List equalised for Stevenage with 10 minutes of normal time to play.

Extra time passed without incident which forced the shootout, and losing in such a way will surely anger McCann as it has the fans.

Jordy de Wijs received a barrel of criticism for his mistake that led to Stevenage's equaliser, and Hull's goalscorer in normal time also copped some criticism.

Eaves was one of the two Hull players to miss in the shootout and understandably fans aren't pleased, it seems some even want him to leave the club.

The Liverpool-born striker hasn't had many starts this season, with McCann preferring the presence of Josh Magennis in the lone role up-top.

And if the Hull fans had their way, they probably wouldn't see Eaves in the team again. Check out some of the reactions from Twitter below...
