A number of Cardiff City supporters have been venting their frustrations over the performance of Kieffer Moore during the Bluebirds’ 1-0 defeat at home to rivals Bristol City on Friday.

Moore was brought in by Neil Harris in the summer from Wigan Athletic in a deal worth around £2 million, with the hope the Welshman could help fire Cardiff to promotion from the Championship. The forward has so far this season managed to register just three goals in 11 league appearances for the Bluebirds at an average of just 0.3 per game (Sofascore).

Against Bristol City the striker struggled to really influence the game in the final third for Cardiff, with the nine-cap Wales international giving the ball away on 16 occasions throughout the game. While the 28-year-old also found his finishing in the final third lacking missing one big chance (Sofascore).

Cardiff did provide service to the forward it was just that Moore was well marshalled by Bristol City’s defence throughout the contest. Harris will now need to consider other potential options to help the Bluebirds start to be more of a threat in the final third so they can pick up more consistent results in the coming weeks.
