Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Stoke City last night and many Reds fans have been left furious at Cafu after he spurned a chance to win the game.

On a foggy Tuesday night in Stoke, the Reds only had themselves to blame for going behind after 18 minutes as Lewis Grabban ducked under Jordan Thompson's inswinging corner and Brice Samba turned it into his own net.

Forest pulled level in the second half through similar means when Potters skipper James Chester headed in an own goal and then Chris Hughton's side had a chance to win the game in the dying moments.

Cafu swooped on a poor backpass and raced through on goal but was unable to convert the one-on-one with Stoke keeper Joe Bursik denying him with his legs.

It was not to be for the Reds and they were forced to settle for their third draw on the bounce, a result that sees them drop below Derby County in the table and sit just one place above the drop zone.

The Portuguese midfielder joined the club in the summer and has become a regular fixture in Chris Hughton's side in recent weeks, making the number 10 spot his own, but he spurned a fantastic chance to score his first goal for the club and secure all three points.
