Nottingham Forest are eager to make some more big signings this summer following the arrivals of Micheal Dawson, Joao Carvalho and Diogo Goncalves.

Many are expecting the Reds to be a force next season as they look to utilise the ambition of their owners and talent of their manager Aitor Karanka.

Certainly, their summer activity has been decent so far and, according to the Mirror via journalist James Nursey, they are looking at three class strikers:

Each member of the trio enjoyed fine campaigns last season as they hit 62 goals between them.

Marriott hit 33 in all competitions whilst Waghorn notched 16 and Bamford hit 13 for Middlesbrough.

There's no suggestion that the Reds will sign all three but if they can get at least one of these men to sign they'll be improving their attack.

Certainly, it looks as though it's up top where the Reds want to invest this summer.

The Verdict

Times are exciting at Forest at the moment with them making some good signings and linked with many more.

All three would create a buzz around their arrival if they joined the Reds and it remains to be seen if deals can be struck.
