West Bromwich Albion are expected to strike a deal for one of three Championship strikers before the transfer window slams shut next week, according to the Express and Star.

Having been promoted in the previous campaign, the Baggies are aiming to make a name for themselves in the Premier League although do need another forward.

All three forwards that Slaven Bilic is looking to sign play in the second-tier of English football with Karlan Grant, Troy Deeney and Andre Gray the targets at the Hawthorns.

The trio each could bring separate qualities to the Baggies side, especially seeing as though Gray and Deeney have both played in the top-flight in previous campaigns.

Whichever striker West Brom decide on brining to the club will have a weight of expectation to hit the ground running as they look to stay in the Premier League.

The Verdict

West Brom need a forward desperately and there's no reason why any one of these three players wouldn't improve the team and help the team in the Premier League.

Grant has a lot of potential and has proved his ever growing goalscoring record with Huddersfield Town last season, whilst Deeney and Gray have scored goals at the highest level for Watford.

It's set to be a tough campaign for West Brom but if they can get one of these transfers over the line then it would give them a much better looking attack heading into the remainder of the season.
