Nottingham Forest
‘Unreal this season’, ‘come on leaps and bounds’ – These Forest fans excited by impressive statistic

Nottingham Forest defender Matty Cash made 11 tackles against Luton Town yesterday, the record for a Championship game this season, which has excited many fans of the club.
The Reds beat Luton 2-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium yesterday to climb up to fifth in the table.
Forest were in the ascendancy in the first half and Lewis Grabban capatilised just before the break–calmly putting the ball past Luton goalkeeper James Shea.
Should Cash be Forest's first-choice right-back?
Yes

No

Sammy Ameobi doubled the lead for Sabri Lamouchi’s men just before the hour mark, converting Joe Lolley’s cross.
The Hatters fought back, however, with Callum McManaman pulling one back in the 87th minute and Kazenga Lua Lua missing a chance to grab a draw minutes later.
Cash put in another impressive display for the Reds in his 11th league start at right-back this season.

The 22-year-old made 11 tackles in total–the most of any player in a Championship game this season and was also the highest-rated player in the match, according to Whoscored.
Cash has been a key player for Lamouchi this season and despite being a midfielder by trade, has done a fantastic job at right-back for the Reds.
His energy and dynamism on the right flank has helped Forest going forwards many times this season but the quality of his tackling was clear against Luton on Saturday.
The statistic appears to have impressed many fans of the Nottingham club, who took to Twitter to express their thoughts.

Come on leaps and bounds as the season has developed. I was a bit dubious seeing him in the opener agaisnt West Brom. But he’s come a long way since then. Well done matty.
