Middlesbrough have secured the long-term future of Isaiah Jones following the appointment for Chris Wilder as the club’s new manager.

It’s been confirmed that Jones has put pen-to-paper on a contract with the Teessiders until the summer of 2025.

Prior to this season, Jones had hardly made an appearance for Boro after arriving from Tooting and Mitcham in 2019. However, he’s emerged to be a bright spark in the start to 2021/22.

The 22-year-old has made 15 appearances and registered two assists in the Championship, showcasing traits that could make him a real hit under Wilder now the new manager has been appointed.

As expected, the Boro fans have taken to this news well given Jones’ impressive performances in the Championship this season.
