Yesterday was the sixth anniversary of Charlton Athletic's 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday, which sealed a place in the FA Cup Quarter-Finals and that has drawn an excited response from fans of the South London club.

Simon Church's 65th-minute header proved decisive for the Addicks, who had traveled up to Hillsborough for the Fifth Round clash.

Callum Harriott's powerful strike gave the visitors the lead in the first half but Wednesday pulled level 12 minutes after the breakthrough Leon Best.

Goalkeeper Ben Hamer also provided some heroics, making a somewhat miraculous goalline save.

It has been six years since the game and with Charlton set to head to Hillsborough tomorrow, the club posted a throwback to it on Twitter.

Charlton would suffer a 2-0 defeat against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the next round a fortnight later but that did little to take away from an exciting FA Cup run.

The Addicks won on the road at Oxford United, Huddersfield Town and Wednesday to secure their place in the Quarter-Finals.
