‘Unlucky not to score’ – These Aston Villa fans delighted with showing of new man

Aston Villa left it late to snatch a point at Blackburn Rovers yesterday as Steve Bruce’s men came away from Ewood Park with a 1-1 draw.

Despite it not being a win, the point could prove crucial for the Villans, who had endured a poor few weeks off the field owing to a 4-1 hammering by Sheffield United prior to the international break.

Yesterday’s draw saw the Villa debut of loan signing Tammy Abraham, who despite failing to get on the scoresheet, put in a decent shift for the Villans in what was a tricky tie in Lancashire.

Indeed, the young Chelsea striker took to Twitter following the game to share some of his thoughts on the game and thank the travelling fans.

The young England man could well become a star for Villa given a run in the team, and he will no doubt be hoping to show the form he showed two seasons back for Bristol City during his time at Villa Park.

Plenty of Villa fans already seem impressed with Abraham, and we at FLW took a closer look at exactly what the Villa fans had to say…
