‘Underwhelming’ – Plenty of Leyton Orient fans react as club secure Bonne replacement

Sky Bet League Two side Leyton Orient have completed the signing of Dagenham and Redbridge striker Conor Wilkinson, the club have confirmed.
The O’s will have been on the lookout for a new striker following the departure of star-man Macauley Bonne, who has recently joined Championship side Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old scored 23 goals in 46 games for Orient last term, helping the London club win the National League title after a hugely impressive campaign.
The club have now acted fast to find Bonne’s replacement, with Wilkinson arriving from fellow London club Dagenham.
The 24-year-old scored 12 goals in 23 games for the Daggers last season, after sealing a permanent move from League One side Gillingham in the January transfer window.
Standing at 6-foot-3, Wilkinson will certainly add a physical, forceful presence to the O’s’ attack, as they look to form another push for promotion next season.
Here, we take a look at Orient fans’ reactions to the new signing…
