Former Leeds United striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga is enjoying a very productive season for German side Hamburg as they look to secure promotion to the top-flight themselves in the coming months.

The 27-year-old had a season-long loan spell at Elland Road in the previous campaign, where he scored ten goals in 31 games.

Whilst that's a decent return, supporters didn't always take to the big target man who could often appear lazy and uninterested.

However, when he was at his best, most would agree he was a real handful for the opposition and a good player.

That's been the case this season, with a Leeds United twitter account highlighting his impressive stats. Lasogga has 14 goals in 18 games this season, including 10 in the league as Hamburg sit top.

Yet, his long-term future is unclear as his current deal expires in the summer, which prompted debate among Leeds supporters as to whether they'd take him back.
