Daniel James has had an excellent season at Swansea City, seemingly earning himself a big money move to Manchester United that is all but complete.

The Welsh winger was the discovery of the season for Graham Potter, and the club did well to keep him in January amid Leeds' interest.

He has shown pace, power and technique and has been one of the stars of Swansea since their relegation.

How would you sum up his season if you could use just one word, though?

We debate…

Jacob Potter

"Unbelievable.

"If you had asked any Swansea fans who would be their star man at the start of the season, not many would have said Daniel James.

"But he’s been hugely impressive in this year’s campaign, which seemingly hasn’t gone unnoticed, with the winger edging closer to completing his move to Manchester United.

"He’s a player with real talent, who is destined for the very top."

George Brooks

"Promising.

"James has been one of the standout players for Swansea in the Championship this season and also made his breakthrough on the international stage for Wales.

"He could become a top player in the future and it is no surprise to see him linked with a host of Premier League clubs."

Lewis Steele

"Breakthrough.

"I barely knew of Dan James before Swansea were relegated, so that was a blessing in disguise for the Welshman.

"He absolutely deserves all the praise he is getting and a move to United is justified.

"I think he will play there, but not every week. I hope this doesn’t affect him and prove that this move will be one step too far."
