Aston Villa will be preparing for their trip to Wembley next week, when they take on Derby County for a place in the Premier League.

They earned their spot in the play-off final with a win over West Brom on penalties, after the Baggies ran out 1-0 winners on the night at The Hawthorns.

Villa defender, Tyrone Mings took to Instagram, and is evidently looking forward to the clash at the home of English football with a place in the top-flight at stake.

Mings has been key to the recent turnaround in form that Villa have had since arriving on loan from AFC Bournemouth until the end of this year's campaign.

He has formed an impressive partnership in the centre of the Villa defence, alongside fellow loanee, Axel Tuanzebe who has been equally as good as Mings.

He'll be hoping to cap off a memorable loan spell by winning promotion at Wembley, and Villa supporters will be keen to see him stay with the club into next season.

But any potential permanent move for the defender could be dependent on whether Dean Smith's side make a timely return to the top-flight.

The Verdict:

They're favourites for a reason heading into this game.

Villa have hardly put a foot wrong since the turn of the year, and I just cant see anyone being able to stop them in their quest to return to the Premier League.

Surely Derby can't make it two surprises in successive games?
