‘Typical’ – Many Portsmouth fans react to one man following Plymouth draw

Portsmouth fans have been left fuming with Kenny Jackett despite producing a late comeback to draw with Plymouth on Saturday.

The Fratton Park outfit remain just three points outside the automatic promotion places, but have now tasted victory only once in four League One matches after failing to put the pressure on Hull after their defeat at Burton Albion.

For large parts, the Dockyard derby appeared to be heading for a stalemate, but an 11-minute brace from League One’s top goalscorer Luke Jephcott suddenly put Plymouth on course for just their second victory on Pompey soil for since 1989.

However, Portsmouth struck twice in less than 60 seconds through Ronan Curtis and James Bolton to at least ensure Jackett’s team didn’t suffer another defeat in what was a repeat of the scoreline in their meeting earlier in the season at Home Park.

But the point against their rivals wasn’t enough to convince many of the Fratton Park faithful that Jackett remains the right man of the job.
